What we do
We are a small independent foundation. We give grants and we advocate for the prevention of suicide and greater recognition of the wellbeing of doctors.
The LTF was established in memory of Louise Marson (nee Tebboth), a Bermondsey GP who took her life in January 2015
The LTF is a grant-giving foundation dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the mental wellbeing of doctors in England and Wales. We provide financial assistance to projects and services which support those objectives as well as initiatives that assist the bereaved families of doctors who have died by suicide.
Since we started, we have provided nearly £20,000 in grant funding. You can find out more about our grants here.
We are registered as a charity with the Charity Commission (Registration number 1166657).
